As a former nanny and au pair (and now a first-time mama!), I know just how fleeting and wonderful those early years really are. Time has this strange way of feeling like it’s standing still and racing by at the same time. One minute you’re counting kicks, and the next, they’re running around the garden shouting their first words.
I’ve always believed in letting kids be kids, and honestly, that goes for us grown-ups too!
That’s why my sessions aren’t about stiff poses or “say cheese” smiles. Instead, they’re about allowing space for personality and connection. With time for movement, for rest, and for children to lead when they need to, letting moments settle and unfold without interruption.
