The beach has to be one of my favourite locations for family photo sessions, and if you’re looking for outdoor family photography in Kent, it doesn’t get much better than this! There’s something truly special about sandy toes, the soothing sound of waves crashing, and cosy family cuddles nestled among the dunes – the perfect setting for capturing precious memories all year round.

Even during the Autumn and Winter months, a beach photoshoot remains an ideal choice for family portraits in Kent. All it takes is an extra layer or two, and maybe a cosy blanket, and you’re set to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, no matter the season.

For this particular family session, I had the pleasure of photographing Holly and her lovely family at Camber Sands, Rye, during the final days of summer. The beach was the perfect place to capture their moments of joy and connection. As the crowds started to leave and the golden light of sunset illuminated the sand, we were able to create some truly stunning photographs. The relaxed, natural feel of the beach made for an unforgettable family photography session.
