They say we only have babies for the first four years of their lives. During this time there is a whole world of milestones that stretch far beyond their first laugh, first steps, or first words. It’s the first time they paddle in the sea, the first time they play pooh-sticks, or even the first time they stay up past bedtime.

As a former nanny and now first time Mama, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing these precious moments—both firsthand and through the joy and pride of other parents.

And, boy, do the years fly by!

And so it's these experiences, stories and memories that I strive to capture and immortalise for you and your family—not just so you can look back on them, but so you can feel them all over again.

I have always believed in the phrase 'Let Them Be Little'. Whether your child is three, eight, or sixteen! It’s an attitude I wholeheartedly encourage during our sessions—not just for their enjoyment, but for yours as well. Because when you let go, embrace the chaos, and truly live in the moment, that’s when the most beautiful memories are made

No two children are alike, and no two family sessions should be either. To ensure that you, your little ones (and your partner!) have a fun, relaxed experience—and to ease any camera anxiety—I follow a 'child-led' approach and allow the children to dictate the nature and outcome of our time spent together. 

By fostering an environment of exploration and play, I create a space where your family can simply be yourselves—just as you would at home. When children feel safe, comfortable, and free to laugh, be silly, and have fun, that’s when the most genuine moments unfold.

Think of me as your guide (much like Mary Poppins!)—there to gently steer the session while capturing the real, joyful memories you’re making together, so you can focus on what truly matters: being present and enjoying the moment.

Individual images are priced at £20 for one image and £10 for each additional image thereafter vs. a full gallery upgrade for just £150!

An online viewing gallery. Which will be delivered to you via email and contain 50+ photographs in a mixture of colour and black & white. From which you will be able to select up to 20 images as included within this package.

The inclusion of siblings, partners & relatives - if requested - to create a variety of photographs capturing those you love most.
Additional fee of £10 per person for families larger than 6.

Access to my "emergency kit" whether we're in the studio or on location. I always carry with me; wipes, nappies, plasters, deodorant, hair brushes/combs, a stain stick, bobby pins, snacks(!), etc, for those 'just in case' moments!

If visiting my Maidstone studio, tea and coffee will be available upon arrival. I also have a selection of (some healthy and some not-so healthy) snacks available for your little(s).

Whether it’s spring, with trees and flowers bursting into bloom, or autumn, when the ground is blanketed in rich oranges, yellows, and browns—field locations offer beauty in every season. In summer, golden corn-fields glow under the evening sun, while winter brings a crisp, frost-kissed charm.

The best part? You don’t have to travel far to find a stunning outdoor space. There are beautiful fields, parks, and wide open landscapes around almost every corner—providing the perfect backdrop for children who just want to run!

The beauty of beaches is that they’re breathtaking all year round! That’s why they make such a fantastic photoshoot location—easily adaptable for autumn and winter sessions with just a few extra layers and some cosy blankets.
Two of my favourite spots I return to year after year are Camber Sands and Botany Bay, offering the perfect backdrop for timeless, windswept, and heartwarming family memories.

Note: I recommend avoiding the beach at the height of summer for health and comfort reasons.

Located in the heart of Maidstone town centre, tucked away in the prestigious Royal Star Arcade, my studio is your home away from home.
With ample parking nearby, full wheelchair accessibility, private toilet facilities, and even a mini tea and coffee station, I’ve thought of everything to ensure a relaxed and comfortable experience. And for your biggest littles? Healthy snacks (aka bribes!) are always on hand to keep them happy.

WHY IT'S IMPORTANT TO PRINT YOUR PHOTOS

It's been proven to boost a child's self-esteem when they see themselves physically represented as a key and important member of a family unit.

When you choose to display family photos in and around your home, it helps to build and reinforce the idea of a safe and protected space. That's where you belong.

From an early age, photos can help a child to develop a sense of self and a wider understanding of their extended family members. Also, children love looking at themselves and identifying who and what they can see in the picture!

A single image represents a moment frozen in time that is part of your family history - print it! Display it! Be proud of it!

Your photos will encapsulate many different emotions and happy memories, and those memories deserve to be displayed, honoured and celebrated.

MY CHILDREN GET TIRED EASILY. WILL THAT BE A PROBLEM?
Not at all! My sessions are entirely child-led, meaning we go at their pace. If your little ones are feeling tired, it simply creates the perfect opportunity for capturing calm, loving moments filled with cosy cuddles. No pressure, no rush—just natural, heartfelt memories at a pace that feels right for them.

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
Your full gallery will be ready within 2-3 weeks of your session. I take care in hand-editing each image to ensure they look their absolute best! If you need your photos sooner for a special occasion, let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

CAN WE BRING OUR PET?
Absolutely! If your furry friend is part of the family, they are more than welcome to join. Just let me know in advance so I can help you choose a pet-friendly location and offer some tips for including them in the session.

WE'RE A LITTLE CAMERA SHY! WILL THAT MATTER? CAN YOU HELP US?
You’re not alone! Most adults feel a little hesitant in front of the camera—at least at first. But don’t worry, my sessions are all about natural, relaxed moments.
The focus will, primarily, be on your little ones and the beautiful bond you share. Instead of stiff poses or forced smiles, simply play, laugh, and engage with your children as you normally would. The more present you are, the more authentic and meaningful your photos—and the memories behind them—will be.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
To make things as easy as possible, I’ve carefully put together a Family Styling Guide, which you’ll receive once your booking is confirmed.
I also have a Client Wardrobe available for parents and little ones, with a selection of beautifully curated pieces to help you feel your best during your session!

CAN WE PRINT OUR PHOTOS?
Absolutely! I highly encourage you to print your images and fill your home with them. Full printing rights are included in your session, so you’re free to print, frame, and gift them however you like.
To make it even easier, you can order professional-quality prints, canvases, and other keepsakes directly from your online gallery!

DO YOU OFFER GIFT VOUCHERS?
Yes! A family photography session makes a beautiful and thoughtful gift. Gift vouchers are available for full sessions or custom amounts and can be presented beautifully for special occasions like birthdays, Mother’s Day, or Christmas.

WHERE DO THE SHOOTS TAKE PLACE? DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?
Sessions can take place in my photography studio in Maidstone, Kent, at a location of your choice, or in the comfort of your own home. If you’re unsure where to shoot, I’ll be more than happy to suggest some beautiful locations to suit your vision!
My Maidstone Studio is situated inside the Royal Star Arcade, just steps away from a variety of local cafés and eateries, as well as the popular stay-and-play café, Little Street—perfect for turning your session into a fun-filled family day out!

WHAT DO WE DO IF IT RAINS?
Ah, the unpredictability of UK weather! That’s why I closely monitor the forecast ahead of every session to stay one step ahead.
If the weather looks less than ideal, I’ll be in touch to discuss a plan of action. In cases where conditions could negatively impact your session, we may choose to reschedule at no extra cost to you, transferring your booking to a new date within two months.

Please note:
- Sessions can be rescheduled once at no additional cost. Any further postponements will require a new booking fee.
- If you need to change your session’s date, time, or location, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Any changes requested after this timeframe may result in the loss of your booking fee.
Your experience should be as stress-free and enjoyable as possible, and I’ll always do my best to work around the weather to ensure a beautiful session!

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Simple answer: yes! A £150 booking fee is required in advance to confirm your session and secure your chosen location, date, and time. You’ll receive an email notification when your remaining balance is due. Need flexibility? Payment plans are available!

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK A SESSION?
I always recommend securing a date as early as possible—especially for busy seasons like spring, summer, and autumn. Since I also photograph weddings, my diary fills up quickly, particularly on summer weekends, so getting in touch early ensures availability and avoids disappointment!
If you’re planning a seasonal or milestone session, such as a birthday or a special family gathering, booking in advance is the best way to guarantee your preferred date.

Absolutely! I have a handful of go-to outdoor locations across Kent that I use regularly, from scenic parks to stunning open fields and beaches. We can discuss the best option for your session when you book!
