As we journey through life, our bodies are constantly changing. One day, your little one(s) will ask, "Where did I come from?" They’ll be curious about how their tiny body came to be, where their birthmarks came from, or why their eyes shine a certain shade of blue.
As a photographer—and a first-time mum as of August 2023(!)—I deeply believe in capturing life’s most meaningful milestones. And pregnancy is one of the most profound, if not the most transformative, journeys a woman can experience.
For most of our lives, we think of our bodies as our own. But for those incredible nine months, you are more than just you. You are a home, a safe space, a provider, a storyteller, and a nurturer.
So, embrace your body and the incredible journey it has taken. You deserve to celebrate and commemorate this milestone. Not just for your little one(s), but for yourself.

Individual images are priced at £20 for one image and £10 for each additional image thereafter vs. a full gallery upgrade for just £150!
An online viewing gallery. Which will be delivered to you via email and contain 50+ photographs in a mixture of colour and black & white. From which you will be able to select up to 10 images as included within your package.
The inclusion of siblings, partners & relatives - if requested - to create a variety of photographs capturing those you love most.
Access to my "emergency kit" whether we're in the studio or on location. I always carry with me; wipes, nappies, plasters, deodorant, hair brushes/combs, a stain stick, bobby pins, snacks(!), etc, for those 'just in case' moments!
If visiting my Maidstone studio; tea, coffee and a selection of (some healthy and some not-so healthy) snacks will be available to you upon arrival.

Whether it’s spring, with trees and flowers bursting into bloom, or autumn, when the ground is blanketed in rich oranges, yellows, and browns—field locations offer beauty in every season. In summer, golden corn-fields glow under the evening sun, while winter brings a crisp, frost-kissed charm.
The best part? You don’t have to travel far to find a stunning outdoor space. There are beautiful fields, parks, and wide open landscapes around almost every corner—providing the perfect backdrop for children who just want to run!
The Fields
The beauty of beaches is that they’re breathtaking all year round! That’s why they make such a fantastic photoshoot location—easily adaptable for autumn and winter sessions with just a few extra layers and some cosy blankets.
Two of my favourite spots I return to year after year are Camber Sands and Botany Bay, offering the perfect backdrop for timeless, windswept, and heartwarming family memories.
Note: I recommend avoiding the beach at the height of summer for health and comfort reasons.
The Beach
Located in the heart of Maidstone town centre, tucked away in the prestigious Royal Star Arcade, my studio is your home away from home.
With ample parking nearby, full wheelchair accessibility, private toilet facilities, and even a mini tea and coffee station, I’ve thought of everything to ensure a relaxed and comfortable experience. And for your biggest littles? Healthy snacks (aka bribes!) are always on hand to keep them happy.

Each location will provide a different aesthetic to your images. This is something to bear in mind when choosing the right setting for your family photos!

WHY IT'S IMPORTANT TO PRINT YOUR PHOTOS
It's been proven to boost a child's self-esteem when they see themselves physically represented as a key and important member of a family unit.
When you choose to display family photos in and around your home, it helps to build and reinforce the idea of a safe and protected space. That's where you belong.
From an early age, photos can help a child to develop a sense of self and a wider understanding of their extended family members. Also, children love looking at themselves and identifying who and what they can see in the picture!
A single image represents a moment frozen in time that is part of your family history - print it! Display it! Be proud of it!
Your photos will encapsulate many different emotions and happy memories, and those memories deserve to be displayed, honoured and celebrated.
CAN WE PRINT OUR PHOTOS?
Absolutely! I highly encourage you to print your images and fill your home with them. Full printing rights are included in your session, so you’re free to print, frame, and gift them however you like.
To make it even easier, you can order professional-quality prints, canvases, and other keepsakes directly from your online gallery!
WE'RE A LITTLE CAMERA SHY! WILL THAT MATTER? CAN YOU HELP US?
You’re not alone! Most adults feel a little hesitant in front of the camera—at least at first. But don’t worry, my sessions are all about natural, relaxed moments.
The focus will, primarily, be on your little ones and the beautiful bond you share. Instead of stiff poses or forced smiles, simply play, laugh, and engage with your children as you normally would. The more present you are, the more authentic and meaningful your photos—and the memories behind them—will be.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
To make things as easy as possible, I’ve carefully put together a Family Styling Guide, which you’ll receive once your booking is confirmed.
I also have a Client Wardrobe available for parents and little ones, with a selection of beautifully curated pieces to help you feel your best during your session!
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
Your full gallery will be ready within 2-3 weeks of your session. I take care in hand-editing each image to ensure they look their absolute best! If you need your photos sooner for a special occasion, let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
DO YOU OFFER A DISCOUNT IF WE BOOK BOTH A MATERNITY & NEWBORN SESSION?
Discounts aren't something I like to give away all too often, however, should you wish to book both a Maternity and Newborn session, I do offer a 25% discount when these packages are booked together.
WHERE DO THE SHOOTS TAKE PLACE? DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?
Sessions can take place in my photography studio in Maidstone, Kent, at a location of your choice, or in the comfort of your own home. If you’re unsure where to shoot, I’ll be more than happy to suggest some beautiful locations to suit your vision!
My Maidstone Studio is situated inside the Royal Star Arcade, just steps away from a variety of local cafés and eateries, as well as the popular stay-and-play café, Little Street—perfect for turning your session into a fun-filled family day out!
WHAT DO WE DO IF IT RAINS?
Ah, the unpredictability of UK weather! That’s why I closely monitor the forecast ahead of every session to stay one step ahead.
If the weather looks less than ideal, I’ll be in touch to discuss a plan of action. In cases where conditions could negatively impact your session, we may choose to reschedule at no extra cost to you, transferring your booking to a new date within two months.
Please note:
- Sessions can be rescheduled once at no additional cost. Any further postponements will require a new booking fee.
- If you need to change your session’s date, time, or location, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Any changes requested after this timeframe may result in the loss of your booking fee.
Your experience should be as stress-free and enjoyable as possible, and I’ll always do my best to work around the weather to ensure a beautiful session!
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Simple answer: yes! A £150 booking fee is required in advance to confirm your session and secure your chosen location, date, and time. You’ll receive an email notification when your remaining balance is due. Need flexibility? Payment plans are available!
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK A SESSION?
I always recommend securing a date as early as possible—especially for maternity, newborn, and little ones under 2-3 years old.
Since I also photograph weddings, my diary fills up quickly, particularly on summer weekends, so getting in touch early ensures availability and avoids disappointment!
Newborns & Early Years: Sessions can be booked from as early as 4 days old up to 6 months and beyond! If you're expecting, I suggest waiting until you're 18-20 weeks pregnant to schedule your newborn session.
Maternity: The best time for a maternity shoot is between 28-34 weeks when your bump is fully bumping(!), but you’re still comfortable.
WE'D LIKE A SESSION OUTDOORS. CAN YOU RECOMMEND SOME SUITABLE LOCATIONS?
Absolutely! I have a handful of go-to outdoor locations across Kent that I use regularly, from scenic parks to stunning open fields and beaches. We can discuss the best option for your session when you book!
